The HYCOA JR-33 3-Way Transfer Valve is rated up to 1,600 PSI. Class 150 ANSI flanged valves are rated at 260 PSI at 200°F, and Class 300 and buttweld valves are rated at 675 PSI at 200°F.

Does the 3-way transfer valve require lubrication?

No. The HYCOA JR-33 3-Way Transfer Valve requires no lubrication to operate. The patented Shoe Seal design provides zero frictional drag during crossover, and the positive mechanical lockdown requires no springs, reducing maintenance requirements.

What is a 3-Way Transfer Valve?

A 3-way transfer valve allows fluid to be transferred from one pipe to two other pipes. It typically has three ports and two switching positions, which allows fluid to be directed from one port to another, or to be shut off completely.

3-way transfer valves are commonly used in piping systems that require the distribution of fluid to multiple destinations, or for applications where two separate fluid streams need to be combined into one.

They can be manual, automated, or a combination of both, and can be designed with different materials depending on the fluid being transported, temperature and pressure requirements, and the need for corrosion resistance.

In addition to controlling fluid flow, 3-way transfer valves can also be used to isolate and drain sections of the piping system, prevent backflow, and protect against overpressure and other safety hazards.
