HICORP Transfer Valves

Continuous Flow · Zero Leakage · Industrial-Duty Reliability

Engineered for critical applications where uninterrupted flow and absolute sealing integrity are required — without shutdown, pressure loss, or leakage.

Positive Mechanical Shoe-Seal Technology

Unlike traditional O-ring designs, HICORP valves utilize a positive mechanical shoe-seal system that retracts during changeover to eliminate friction and wear — then locks securely into place to provide true "No-Leak" shutoff.

Designed for duplex filtration systems and demanding industrial processes, these valves allow smooth transfer between flow paths without shutdown, pressure loss, or leakage. Replacement components are fully interchangeable with HYCOA JR-33 style valves, simplifying spare parts management.

Key Advantages

Five engineering advantages that make HICORP the trusted choice for critical industrial service.

Zero-Leak Shutoff

Positive mechanical shoe seals provide tight isolation without O-rings or spectacle blinds.

Continuous Flow Operation

Change flow paths without interrupting system operation or depressurizing the line.

Low Torque, Low Wear Design

Retractable elastomer seals eliminate friction during transfer, extending seal life significantly.

Low Pressure Drop

Optimized internal flow paths improve efficiency and overall system performance.

API 614 Compliant

Suitable for critical oil & gas and process industry applications requiring compliance.

Operating Instructions

Quick reference for valve changeover procedure:

  1. 1

Open equalizing/fill line valve and allow pressure to balance (larger vessels may require several minutes).

  2. 2

Turn "T" handle counterclockwise ≈6–7 turns.

  3. 3

Push ball handle down to unseat shoes.

  4. 4

Rotate ball handle 180° (red arrow points to active ports).

  5. 5

Release ball handle and hand-tighten "T" handle clockwise (20 in-lb max).

  6. 6

    Close equalizing valve.

Built for Critical Service

HICORP Transfer Valves deliver reliable, zero-leak performance in the most demanding environments — making them the trusted choice for engineers who cannot afford downtime.

These transfer valves set the industry standard for reliability in API 614 auxiliary lube oil skids, power plants, gas turbines, and heavy industrial applications.

Spare Parts & Maintenance

HICORP Transfer Valves use the same internal components as HYCOA JR-33 series valves — meaning genuine spare parts are readily available and fully interchangeable. Three categories cover every maintenance scenario.

Shoe Assemblies

The primary sealing element. Precision-machined sealing pads with elastomeric backing provide the zero-leakage metal-to-elastomer seal. Available in Buna-N (standard) or Viton (high-temperature/chemical service) for all valve sizes.

When to replace: Replace when sealing face shows wear, elastomer has hardened or cracked, or leakage is detected at the sealing interface.

Seal Kits

Complete elastomeric rebuild kits containing every sealing component — lip seals, O-rings, seal retainers, and bonnet gaskets — for a full valve rebuild. Available in Buna-N or Viton, sized to your valve and end connection type.

When to replace: Replace at any scheduled maintenance interval or whenever the valve is opened for internal inspection.

Internal Stack Assembly

The complete modular internal mechanism — operating shaft, sealing pads, slide/link assemblies, sleeves, separator plate, and all sealing elements — as a single replaceable unit. Valve body stays in the line.

When to replace: Replace when shaft or slide/link wear is found, or as a cost-effective alternative to individual component repair after extended service.

HYCOA JR-33 Compatible — One Spare Parts Inventory

HICORP valve internals are fully interchangeable with HYCOA JR-33 components. If you operate both valve types, a single spare parts inventory covers your entire fleet — simplifying procurement and reducing on-shelf stock requirements.
