Two Streams, One Valve, One Operation

The 6-Way Split configuration uses opposite-side porting with independent top and bottom flow paths. It functions as two 3-way valves in a single body — both streams are switched simultaneously with a single operator action, ensuring synchronized changeover without the risk of misaligned valve positions.

This configuration is used in dual-stream lube oil systems, applications with two independent circuits sharing a common duplex filter arrangement, and any process where two streams must always be directed to the same equipment train at the same time.

Operating Instructions

  1. 1

    Open equalizing/fill line valve and allow pressure to balance on both streams.

  2. 2

    Turn "T" handle counterclockwise ≈6–7 turns.

  3. 3

    Push ball handle down to unseat shoes on both flow paths.

  4. 4

    Rotate ball handle 180° (red arrow points to active ports).

  5. 5

    Release ball handle and hand-tighten "T" handle clockwise (20 in-lb max).

  6. 6

    Close equalizing valve.
