Zero Leakage and Zero Frictional Drag

HICORP · 6-Way Configuration

6-Way Inline Continuous Flow Transfer Valve

Minimum Pressure Drop · Straight-Through Flow · API 614 Compliant

The inline configuration routes the active flow path straight through the valve body — delivering the lowest pressure drop of any 6-way configuration. The preferred choice for turbine lube oil, compressor seal oil, and other pressure-sensitive systems.

Straight-Through Flow — Minimum Pressure Drop

In the 6-Way Inline configuration, the inlet and the active outlet port are aligned on the same axis — the fluid travels in a straight line through the valve body to the active equipment train. This eliminates the directional changes present in same-side and opposite-side configurations, resulting in the lowest possible pressure drop.

This makes the inline configuration the standard choice for API 614 turbine lube oil skids, compressor seal oil systems, and any application where minimizing pressure drop is a design requirement.

Operating Instructions

  1. 1

Open equalizing/fill line valve and allow pressure to balance.

  2. 2

Turn "T" handle counterclockwise ≈6–7 turns.

  3. 3

Push ball handle down to unseat shoes.

  4. 4

Rotate ball handle 180° (red arrow points to active ports).

  5. 5

Release ball handle and hand-tighten "T" handle clockwise (20 in-lb max).

  6. 6

    Close equalizing valve.
