The HICORP 6-Way Same-Side valve is available in 1½", 2", 3", 4", and 6" sizes with ANSI Class 150 or Class 300 flanged connections.

What is the pressure rating?

Class 150 ANSI flanged connections are rated at 260 PSI at 200°F. Class 300 and butt-weld connections are rated at 675 PSI at 200°F.

Can this valve replace an existing HYCOA JR-33 same-side valve?

Same-Side Porting — Simplified Piping

The 6-Way Same-Side configuration places the common inlet and both equipment-train outlets on the same face of the valve body. This eliminates the need for crossover piping and simplifies installation in tight equipment bays where both filter vessels or coolers are mounted side-by-side.

Like all HICORP valves, the positive mechanical shoe-seal system retracts during changeover — eliminating friction and wear — then locks into place for true zero-leakage shutoff. No spectacle blinds, no shutdown, no pressure loss.

Operating Instructions

Open equalizing/fill line valve and allow pressure to balance.

Turn "T" handle counterclockwise ≈6–7 turns.

Push ball handle down to unseat shoes.

Rotate ball handle 180° (red arrow points to active ports).

Release ball handle and hand-tighten "T" handle clockwise (20 in-lb max).

Close equalizing valve.

Note: An equalizing line is required for proper operation. Consult factory if your system does not include one.
